YAS Grounds Projects
New Multidiscipline Facility Updates
Your YAS board and Building Committee have been working super hard and we want to proudly announce that everything is on track for the new arena. The foundation ground work will be starting soon and we are set to start building in June! So we will have a sponsorship package available soon so if anyone knows a business that would like to be a part of this ground breaking process have them give us a shout.
Also to inform all members that the new ground that will be going into the arena will NOT be a silica sand product due to the documented findings of the potential harm. Our consultant has been informed to provide his best natural sand product. Our priority is to the membership. Thank you so much for your understanding and patience during this very hard winter for us. Its been a very painstaking process. But we can move forward and make the best of the YAS's exciting future!!!

Did you hear?!
A Big Thanks to all of you who were able to attend the meeting last night, your support is truly appreciated. The majority vote was Yes to proceed with the new Indoor Riding Facility Proposed. We are looking forward to more good news in the near future.
The Yellowhead Ag Society had an extremely successful summer with the super fun Dog and Pony Show kicking off the season, followed by another outstanding MJ Memorial Barrel Race. Then in fall we had 2 more succesful events, the Open Family Gumkhana & The Edson Family Fun Daze . Both events were family-focused with Markets and kids events galore!
The air quality condition of the Indoor facility was found to be unacceptable due to aging and moisture, so an extensive renovation to the indoor is being planned for the old facitlity. We do plan on building a new indoor arena in the near future!
For those of you who would like to renew their YAS membership (they expire on Sept 30th), please be advised that the YAS annual membership has been increased to $20 per adult user. We ask that all YAS membership renewals be completed here on our new website. Payments for memberships, event registrations and bookings can now be made online. Event requests can be filled out and submitted online as well. For those who have groups, please contact a board member for direction on how to process your clients' memberships and group payments.
The YAS Board is looking forward to eventful 2022/2023 season with all of our local equine, bovine and canine partners.
Thank you!
